Fall is here, and nobody loves a good bowl of soup in the fall/winter more than me. Literally warms the soul!!

Today I want to share my favorite soup recipe of all time! (Thanks Mom!)

This Chicken Tortilla Soup recipe is a crowd favorite. Growing up, my friends would come over and ask for this soup. My boyfriend, who is the pickiest eater EVER even likes this soup. I’m tellin’ ya, you’ve gotta try this one.

Not only is it delicious, it’s also easy to make! You pretty much just have to dump everything together! How simple, right?

Chicken Tortilla Soup Recipe:

Ingredients needed:

• Half a stick of Butter

• ¼ cup of Green Onions

• 1 tbsp of minced Garlic

• 1 - 14.5 oz can of Chicken Broth

• 1 can of Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup

• 1 - 12 oz jar of Heinz Chicken Gravy

• 2 cans of cooked White Chunk Chicken Breast (can use more or less – we prefer more meat)

• 1 - 10 oz can of Rotel (we use mild, but could add more spice if wanted)

• Pint of Half and Half

• 1 - 16 oz container of Sour Cream

• 1 Tbsp of taco seasoning (again, choose spiciness you prefer)

• Salt and Pepper to taste

• Tostito’s Scoops

• Shredded Colby Jack Cheese

Instructions:

• Start by sauteing half a stick of butter, ¼ cup of green onions, and a Tbsp of minced garlic, and set aside.

• In a large pot over medium heat – mix together your can of chicken broth, can of cream of chicken soup, jar of Heinz chicken gravy, 2 cans of chicken breast, can of Rotel, pint of half and half, container of sour cream, Tbsp of taco seasoning, salt and pepper to taste.

• Add in your sauteed butter, green onions, and garlic.

• Let simmer for 20-30 minutes.

• Serve with shredded Colby jack cheese and Tostitos scoops (we like to use the scoops as our edible spoons – delicious and fun!)
